It hasn’t been very long that the Sony Playstation PS3 Slim as hit the market and it looks like there are now rumours of a newer model coming soon. The standard 120GB hard drive will be replaced with a larger 250GB hard drive. Quite nice knowing that all the new games that will be coming out soon will also be able to fit on without having to delete any or get another PS3.

I would like to point out that with the original PS3 the option of getting a larger hard drive shouldn’t have been given. This is because you can easily upgrade the hard drive yourself! As long as you made sure you bought the right model of hard drive, your PS3 will recognise it and use it. So if you had a 1TB hard drive that fit, you have 1TB of space on your PS3.

Always look for guides online if you are thinking of doing some mod work on your consoles. Best to find out what not to do from someone else instead of finding out the hard way.
